The immensely popular UTP Urban Tactical Pants from Helikon have gained something of a cult following and now it has come in a new iteration; Urban Tactical Flex Pants®.
Overall, the most popular features remain so they retain their ergonomics, good storage and relatively discreet appearance. One big difference is the material, they now have non-elastic NyCo (nylon cotton) fabric which is very durable. To maintain the mobility of the pants, panels with elastic VersaStretch® are sewn into the crotch and back area, mobility both for the shooting range and for hiking in the woods.
The pouches are ergonomically placed and with a lot of space despite looking relatively anonymous.
Large velcro closure. and belt loops for up to 50 mm belt.
Front and rear pouches are reinforced at the opening so they can withstand long-term use with clip tools such as e.g. flashlight, multitool or knife. Two velcro pouches on the front of the thigh for smaller smart phones, multitools, magazines, etc.
The two leg pouches with a zipper hold surprisingly a lot and are my favorite pouches for wallets and other things you often use.
