Product description

The Swedish flag made by REDeye, IR-reflective. Note that some pictures show different larger size of patch.

In the visible spectrum the flag looks like in the picture, the surface is not reflective. In the non-visible infrared spectrum, the mark is reflective, like a reflex in active IR-lighting.
This is used in IFF (Identify Friend or Foe) in dark combat or other operations where image intensifiers are used.

These marks are produced against the requirements of Swedish and foreign authorities. The degree of reflection in active lighting at 835nm exceeds 70%. In practice, this means that marks can be detected at distances over 800 meters with a PVS-14 NVD.

Dimensions: 50x30 mm. Only 1mm thick.
