Hatsan 125 6.35 mm 10J is a powerful break barrel air rifle in a large caliber. The model is based on Hatsan’s well-proven design with a large cylinder, providing a stable shooting experience and good build quality even in the license-free 10J version. The rifle is cocked by breaking the barrel downwards, making it easy to load and use.

Thought-out design for a better shooting experience

Hatsan 125 comes equipped with several features that improve both comfort and control:

Quattro Trigger – adjustable two-stage trigger for better control and less creep
SAS (Shock Absorber System) – reduces vibrations and protects the scope
Triopad® butt pad – adjustable length with included inserts
Automatic safety – increases safety during loading

The integrated barrel compensator contributes to better balance and control when firing.

Sights and scope mounting

The rifle comes with fiber optic sights from Truglo in red and green, offering quick target acquisition even in low light. If you want to mount a scope, there is an 11 mm dovetail rail on the weapon, making it compatible with standard airgun scopes.

Caliber 6.35 mm – large caliber with clear shot pattern

Caliber 6.35 mm (.25) is a large caliber for air rifles with heavy pellets that give clear hit marks and large holes in the target. The caliber is often used in more powerful airguns where it truly shines.

In license-free versions (10J), however, the muzzle velocity is low, which gives the pellet a more arched trajectory and causes it to lose speed faster compared to smaller calibers. For many shooters, 5.5 mm is a more balanced choice in license-free power, unless you plan to upgrade the gun.

In more powerful, license-required versions, 6.35 mm is often considered a very effective caliber, partly thanks to its high ballistic coefficient (BC) and solid performance at longer distances.

What to consider regarding power and upgrades

This version is designed to give the maximum license-free muzzle velocity in Sweden for caliber 6.35 mm, which means about 127 m/s. The gun can be upgraded with a so-called full-power spring, but it will then require a license. This air rifle can also be upgraded with Hatsan’s Vortex gas piston, available in both license-free 10J version and full-power version. If upgraded to the full-power variant, the gun will require a license.
