Hatsan 125 Sniper 4.5 mm 10J is a powerful break barrel air rifle that combines high performance with improved ergonomics and more flexible optics mounting. The model is based on Hatsan’s well-proven large cylinder design, providing a stable shooting feel and good accuracy. The rifle is cocked by breaking the barrel downwards, making it easy to load and use. The rifled barrel and 4.5 mm caliber deliver high muzzle velocity, a flat trajectory, and good precision at normal shooting distances.

The Sniper model differs from the standard version with a more advanced stock and a more flexible sighting solution:

Shrouded barrel for quieter shooting

The rifle is equipped with a shrouded barrel that helps reduce vibrations and provides a more dampened shot sound. Together with the SAS system, this delivers a calmer and more controlled shooting experience.

Iron sights and scope mounting

The rifle is delivered with Truglo fiber optic sights in red and green, giving quick target acquisition even in lower light conditions. Unlike the usual Hatsan 125, the Sniper version has a mounted sight base that combines both 11 mm dovetail and 21 mm standard rail / Weaver. This gives you more freedom in choosing scopes, red dot sights, or mounts.

4.5 mm caliber – classic choice for high speed and easy shootability

Caliber 4.5 mm (.177) is the most common caliber for airguns and a very good choice for both beginners and experienced shooters. The lower projectile weight provides high muzzle velocity and a flat trajectory, making it easier to shoot at normal distances. The caliber is well suited for target and recreational shooting. Compared to 5.5 mm, 4.5 mm is more affected by wind, while 5.5 mm is typically more wind-resistant but, on the other hand, has a lower muzzle velocity.

Things to consider regarding power and upgrades

This version is manufactured to deliver the maximum license-free muzzle velocity in Sweden for caliber 4.5 mm, which amounts to approximately 198–200 m/s. The rifle can be upgraded with a so-called full power spring, which then makes it license-required. It is also possible to upgrade this air rifle with Hatsan’s Vortex gas piston, available in both license-free 10J version and in full power version. When upgrading to the full power version, the rifle becomes license-required.
