Hatsan 125 Sniper 6.35 mm 10J is a powerful break barrel air rifle that combines high performance with improved ergonomics and flexible optics mounting. The model is based on Hatsan’s proven design with a large cylinder, providing a stable shooting feel and good accuracy. The rifle is cocked by breaking the barrel downward, making it easy to load and use. The rifled barrel together with the large caliber provides a distinct shot pattern and stable trajectory.

Sniper version with improved ergonomics

The Sniper model differs from the standard version mainly through a more advanced stock and a more flexible sighting solution:

Hatsan 125 Sniper is equipped with several features that improve both comfort and control:

Shrouded barrel for quieter shooting

The rifle is equipped with a shrouded barrel that helps reduce vibrations and provides a more muffled shot sound. Together with the SAS system, this results in a quieter and more controlled shooting experience.

Sights and scope mounting

The rifle is delivered with fiber optic sights from Truglo in red and green, offering quick target acquisition even in poor lighting. Unlike regular Hatsan 125 models, the Sniper version has a mounted sight base that combines both 11 mm dovetail and 21 mm Weaver rail. This gives you greater freedom in choosing a riflescope, red dot, or mount.

Caliber 6.35 mm – large caliber with distinct shot markings

Caliber 6.35 mm (.25) is a large caliber for airguns with heavy pellets that gives clear shot marking and large holes in the target. This caliber is often used in more powerful air rifles where it truly shines and offers very good performance at longer distances.
In the license-free (10J) version, the muzzle velocity is relatively low, meaning the caliber is not fully utilized. For many shooters, 5.5 mm is therefore a more balanced choice unless you plan to upgrade the rifle.

Things to consider regarding power and upgrades

This version is made to provide maximum license-free muzzle velocity in Sweden for caliber 6.35 mm, which means about 127 m/s. The rifle can be upgraded with a so-called full-power spring, but then becomes subject to licensing. It is also possible to upgrade this air rifle with Hatsan’s Vortex gas piston, which is available in both license-free 10J version and full-power version. When upgrading to a full-power variant, the rifle becomes subject to licensing.
