ASG Steyr AUG A1 is an officially licensed airsoft rifle from Steyr Arms that combines the classic AUG design with modern electronics and updated internal parts. The bullpup construction places the gearbox and magazine behind the trigger, giving a 510 mm long inner barrel in a rifle that is only 860 mm long. This ProLine version features an integrated 1.5x scope, programmable ETU, MOSFET, quick change spring, and adjustable rotary hop-up. The body is mainly made of reinforced polymer with metal parts where needed, which together with the AUG construction creates a well-balanced rifle.

Integrated 1.5x Scope and Five Picatinny Rails

The characteristic carry handle contains a fixed 1.5x optical scope. Around the scope, there are three Picatinny rails, and the rifle has a total of five rails for mounting, for example, a red dot sight, flashlight, or other accessories. At the front is the AUG model’s characteristic foldable vertical grip. The controls are designed for ambidextrous use.

Programmable ETU and Two-Stage Trigger

The electronic trigger unit provides modern control over the gearbox and is complemented by a MOSFET and ECU. The AUG system’s special two-stage trigger means a lighter pull fires a shot in semi, while the trigger can be pulled all the way back for full-auto. The gearbox is a Version 3 with 16:1 High Speed gears, high-torque motor, and piston with a metal rack. The battery is connected with a T-connector (DEAN).

Rotary Hop-Up and Quick Change Spring

The adjustable rotary hop-up unit makes it easy to fine-tune the trajectory for the BB weight you use. The quick change spring also makes it easier to change the main spring when the output power needs to be adjusted. The rifle comes with a M95 spring installed, providing approximately 0.9 joules and 95 m/s. A more powerful M120 spring is also included so you can easily switch between CQB and woodland play. The magazine is a mid-cap with a 120 round capacity for 6 mm airsoft BBs.
