The CYMA 518 is an affordable electric airsoft rifle for those wanting maximum performance for their money. The model features a modern M4-inspired platform with a retractable crane stock, long handguard, and several 21 mm standard rails for optics and other accessories.

The outer barrel, handguard, sights, and several other exposed parts are made of metal, while the body is otherwise made from reinforced fiber plastic. This keeps both the weight and price down but still provides a solid feel in the hand. The relatively long 363 mm inner barrel also contributes to good accuracy and range within its class.

Internally, the gun is built around a V2 gearbox compatible with standard V2 parts, making it easy to find spare parts and upgrades. It is equipped with 8 mm steel bushings, steel gears, and a hi-torque motor. The rifle has adjustable hop-up and comes with a hi-cap magazine for about 300 airsoft BBs.

The stock is of crane-type and accommodates a nunchuck battery. Battery and battery charger not included.
