CYMA CM.068D GEN-2 is a long M4/AR15 airsoft rifle with a metal receiver and free-floating KeyMod handguard in aluminum. The 14.75-inch handguard, the 16-inch outer barrel, and the slim muzzle brake give the model a modern DMR-inspired look.
The GEN-2 version features a V2 gearbox with quick spring change, CYMA MOSFET/ETU, 18:1 gears, and hi-torque motor. The rifle also comes with two 150-round mid-cap magazines and three Picatinny rails for the KeyMod handguard.

Long AR15 platform with DMR potential

The long outer barrel, 400 mm inner barrel, and the free-floating handguard make the CM.068D well suited for woodland games and medium shooting distances. The construction also provides a solid foundation for those who want to later build a more specialized DMR airsoft rifle.
In its standard configuration, the model features both semi-automatic and fully automatic fire. If it is to be used in a DMR class that requires locked semi-automatic function, modification may be necessary according to the game organizer's rules.

14.75-inch KeyMod handguard

The approximately 370 mm long handguard is made of aluminum and features KeyMod attachment points around the sides and bottom. Along the top runs a 20 mm Picatinny rail that connects to the rail on the upper receiver.
Three removable Picatinny rails are included: one rail with nine slots and two rails with five slots each. They can be positioned where you need to mount, for example, a weapon light, bipod, or other 20 mm accessories.

Metal receiver and flip-up sights

The receiver and buffer tube are made of metal, while the pistol grip and adjustable SF stock are made of polymer. On the continuous upper side are foldable flip-up sights that can be used as primary sights or backup sights together with optics.
The front sight is adjustable and the rear has an adjustable diopter. When not in use, the sights can be folded down against the rail.

Controls for right- and left-handed users

The enlarged magazine release can be operated from both sides, making magazine changes easier for both right- and left-handed users. The enlarged trigger guard offers extra space when the rifle is used with gloves.
An extended fire selector is easily accessible on the left side. The rifle also features a functional bolt catch: the charging handle opens the ejection port cover and pulls back the dummy bolt plate, which can be locked open while the hop-up is adjusted.

Six-position SF stock with battery storage

The SF stock can be adjusted in six positions to suit the length to the user, equipment, and shooting position. The stock has a rubberized buttpad, QD mounts on both sides, and a traditional sling mount.
Between the receiver and buffer tube sits an ambidextrous steel plate with attachment points for a sling with hook. The battery is placed in the buffer tube or in the compartment inside the stock.

V2 gearbox with quick spring change

The GEN-2 version's V2 gearbox features quick spring change via the spring guide, allowing the spring to be replaced without fully opening the gearbox shell.
Inside there are 8 mm steel bushings, 18:1 gears, and a piston with full steel rack. The piston head and cylinder head are made of aluminum. The pneumatic system is complemented by a type 0 cylinder and a 21 mm Teflon nozzle.
The spring guide is made of steel and fitted with bearings. The long-shafted hi-torque motor drives the gearbox with a fire rate of around 19 BB per second.

CYMA MOSFET/ETU

The rifle features CYMA MOSFET/ETU for improved trigger response and reduced wear on the mechanical contacts. The electric system uses a T-plug (DEAN).
For regular use, we recommend a 7.4 V LiPo to limit wear on the gearbox. Battery and charger are not included.

Rotary hop-up and 6.03 mm inner barrel

The adjustable rotary hop-up unit is made of metal and is accessed through the ejection port. The rotary design makes adjustment clear and helps the hop-up unit maintain its position.
The inner barrel is made of brass and measures 400 × 6.03 mm. Muzzle velocity is about 119 m/s, equivalent to 390 fps with 0.20 g BB.

16-inch outer barrel with 14 mm CCW

The 16-inch outer barrel ends with a factory-fitted muzzle brake. Under the muzzle brake is a 14 mm CCW thread for compatible suppressors, tracer units, and other muzzle devices for airsoft.
