The Double Bell Kar98 is a spring-powered airsoft rifle in bolt action configuration, based on the classic German Kar98 rifle. This version features a plastic stock with wood-like surface finish, providing a visually accurate look in line with the original.

Just like the wood version, this model is built on realistic mechanics, where each shot is loaded into a separate cartridge and ejected during reloading. The bolt movement, loading process, and functionality replicate the original firearm, making this model especially suitable for WWII reenactment, historical airsoft games, and collecting.

The barrel, sights, receiver, parts of the bolt, trigger, and trigger guard are all made of metal, giving the rifle the right feel in handling and a solid construction.

Kar98 – Historical background

The Kar98, or Karabiner 98k, was developed by Mauser and served as the standard rifle in German military service from the mid-1930s until the end of World War II. The weapon became known for its reliability, accuracy, and robust construction and was extensively used by infantry and snipers.

The bolt action design, long barrel, and mechanical sights laid the foundation for the Kar98’s reputation as a precise and dependable rifle—qualities that have made the model iconic in military history and historical reenactment.

Realistic function and mechanics

The Double Bell Kar98 uses a spring-powered system, where each shot requires manual reloading. The rifle comes with 5 cartridges, each loaded with a 6 mm airsoft BB. When reloading, the cartridge is automatically ejected, providing a highly authentic user experience.

The long 500 mm inner barrel with a 6.02 mm inner diameter helps ensure good accuracy and stable trajectory, especially suitable for games and training shooting with a historical focus.
