E&L AKM Essential is an airsoft rifle for those who want an AKM with the right feel in both material and fit. The Essential series is developed to keep the price more reasonable, but maintain what has made E&L popular: 100% steel construction (no ZnAl), oxidized steel surface, stable V3 gearbox and tight build quality. Much of the realism comes from the fact that E&L is assembled in a factory that also manufactures firearms – which means some external components are very close to the original's dimensions and design. The wood parts (stock, handguard, and gas tube cap) are made of real wood, while the pistol grip is polymer.
