The AK15 was released to the Russian Defense Forces in 2018 and is among the very latest weapons in their arsenal. The difference between the LCT AK12 and AK15 is only the design of the magazine.
An extremely well made AK. LCT's exquisite quality when it comes to e.g. material selection. Made largely of steel, some other metals as well as strong polymer, the materials give a really good feel to the weapon. Flash suppressor is somewhat reminiscent of the regular AK74 but with a somewhat unusual design. The weapon has no thread for the silencer, but it is detached with a pin (silencer cannot be mounted).
The front handle is made of extremely strong polymer and has the usual 21 mm rail, also small rail pieces on the sides which can be dismantled.
The weapon comes with a precision barrel (6.02 mm) mounted and internally there are 9 mm ball bearings, steel gears, aluminum piston head, ball bearing spring control and hi-torque motor. 19.49 mm long nozzle with sealing o-ring.
