Product description
Very good warning and indicator for LIPO battery. Also suitable for the following battery types; Li-ion, LiMn and Li-Fe. On the one hand, it shows the battery's voltage so you can know how fully charged your battery is and if the voltage starts to drop too much. Remember that LiPO batteries are destroyed if they are discharged too much, this is what you should avoid with this alarm.
The alarm is plugged into the battery when you use it. Connect the balancer cable, with - (black) to (-), leftmost pin when viewed from above. When the voltage drops below a given level, the alarm beeps.
It is also equipped with an adjustable voltage alarm, you can choose the voltage at which it should warn. You adjust the warning limit very easily by connecting the battery and then pressing the small button between the speakers, on the short side.
When setting the warning limit, you need to know that the voltage drops under load (when firing) and then goes up through no load. A rule of thumb might be that a LiPO battery can go down to 3.2 V under load and 3.7 V without load. The taste is like bacon, but our recommendation is probably to set the alarm to 3.3 V and change the battery if the alarm beeps when you shoot. During the break, you can check the warning indicator from time to time and see that the voltage is not below 3.7 V when the battery is unloaded.
Voltage below these levels causes permanent damage to the battery, even if they are not completely destroyed immediately.
In case of warning, a diode lights up and a loud sound warns that you have to charge the battery.
When the battery is connected, it shows the battery's total voltage and each cell individually. Handles LIPO batteries with 1 to 8 cells!
Accuracy: +/- 0.01V
Voltage range PER cell: 0.5-4.5V.
Total voltage range: 3.7-30V .
An excellent accessory and a must when using LIPO batteries.
