We have had the defense steel gray socks manufactured for us by the same supplier as for the defense, so now we can finally offer these excellent socks to you!

History and Manufacturing

They have been manufactured in Sweden by the same factory since the 1960s, and some of the knitting machines are even original from that time. The defense officially calls them "Knee Socks Steel Gray With Felt Sole" M7323-025000, but they are more commonly known as defense steel gray socks or simply defense socks . The color of the yarn is the classic steel gray from the defense and needs to be specially dyed before each newly manufactured batch for the defense and us - a truly unique color.

Materials and Properties

The sock is made of fine merino wool with the addition of polyamide and lycra , which gives:

• Increased durability: Durable and durable for long-term use.
• Easy care material: Easy to wash and retains shape and function.
• Secure fit: Good elastic that keeps the sock up on the leg.

Merino wool provides an airy warmth and effectively transports away moisture. Even if the sock gets wet, it continues to warm thanks to the natural properties of the wool.

Ideal for Hiking and Outdoors

The sock is perfect for outdoor activities and can be easily folded down depending on the climate. For extra comfort, it can be used in layers, with a thicker sock on the outside or a thin liner sock inside.

61% merino wool, 36% polyamide, 3% lycra.

Sizes and Color Coding

At the top of the shaft are color codes for easy size identification:

• Blue: Stocking size 9, Shoe: 37-39
• Red: Sock size 10, Shoe: 40-42
• Green: Sock size 11, Shoe: 43-45
• Brown: Sock size 12, Shoe: 46-48

Washing instructions:

Machine wash 40°, Please wash with wool detergent.
