Product description
Universal tactical shoulder bag. The Claymore bag relates its design to the bag used in the US Army since the 1960s to carry the M18A1 mine called the Claymore.
500D Cordura gives a very durable bag that can withstand daily use for a long time. The bag has no less than 14 pouches. The Claymore bag holds e.g. one liter bottle, a folding saw, a small axe, etc. It completes Helikon's range of bags and fills the gap between the eight liter Haversack and the smaller two and a half liter Essential Kit.
On the front, the Claymore Bag has two large patch pouches with velcro and (if needed) press studs. In each of them are two flat pouches, perfect for AR/AK magazines. Helikon also placed three pouches on the back of the bag, if you want more space. Together, it gives nine pouches, of which seven are flat and two are sewn on.
The bag's rectangular compartment is secured with a zipper and is divided into four flat pouches and a space that holds a notebook or tablet etc. In addition, there is another pouch with zipper in the back wall for valuables, e.g. important documents or money. A total of five pouches and free space between them. Keys and other small items can be hung on the loops for easy access.
One of the most distinctive pieces of US Army soldier equipment during the Vietnam War was the M7 Bandolier. It's a snap-lock military bag with two pouches. One carried an M18A1 Claymore. The other housed the M57 launcher.
Note that the pictures show the bag in a different color, this product refers to olive green/black.
