Helikon-Tex Tracer Anorak is a durable outdoor anorak with eight pockets, adjustable fit, and a design that works for everything from woodland walks to longer excursions in the mountains and nature. Thanks to the material PolyCotton Stretch Ripstop, you get both high durability and good freedom of movement.

It is based on Helikon's popular Woodsman model, but with more pockets, reinforcements, and ventilation options. Side zippers make it easy to put on and take off the anorak, even with a backpack. The spacious oversize fit allows you to easily wear a warming mid-layer on cold days.

Tracer is primarily developed for outdoor activities but also has elements of tactical garments. This means that the pockets are smartly placed and easily accessible, even if you are wearing a backpack or other equipment. For those who want to use it with a combat vest or plate carrier, there are still thoughtful details that make it possible – but that is not the primary purpose of the anorak.

How to measure a jacket

To find the right size – compare with a jacket you already have that fits well. Lay it out buttoned on a flat surface and measure as below. The measurements in the table apply to the garment itself, not the body.

• 1. Chest width: Measure the distance between the armholes, straight across the chest.
• 2. Hem: Measure the width at the bottom of the jacket, parallel to the hem.
• 3. Front length: Measure from the highest point on the shoulder (at the collar) down to the hem.
• 4. Sleeve length: Measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve.
