The UTS®, Urban Tactical Shorts® are designed to be a bit more "mid-profile" and not stand out as much in civilian contexts while maintaining functionality. These shorts are of very high quality and are also really comfortable!
Please note that the detail pictures show the shorts in grey, these shorts are green.
Made in the slightly thinner rips-stop blend on the fabric.
Materials: 60% Cotton, 37% Polyester, 3% Spandex. Rip-stop.
Zippers made of YKK®.
Fly with zipper. velcro panel above instead of button for waist size adjustment.
Ten pouches:
- Two front pouches with reinforced edges.
- Four thigh pouches: Two large ones that close with zippers and two smaller ones that sit on the outside of the large ones. These are closed with velcro and are well suited for mobile phones.
- Four back pouches: Two large and two smaller inside the large ones.
The trousers are elasticated in the middle for optimal fit.
Double reinforced knees/bottom with two layers of fabric.
The front belt loops have extra loops for attaching a d-ring or carabiner.

Note that Helikon's measurements measure the garment, not the body they should fit on. So compare the measurements appropriately with a garment that fits you well. This jacket has a slim fit, if you are unsure choose a size larger than you usually do.
