Practical pockets for everyday use and outdoor life

The placement of the pockets is the result of extensive testing. Each pocket is designed to provide quick access and secure storage for everyday gear:

• 2 front pockets with reinforced edges – tough enough for a pocket knife or flashlight
• 4 thigh pockets – two with zippers and two with hook-and-loop flaps
• 4 back pockets – two wide and two narrow for small items
• 2 hidden inner pockets for valuables or compact tools

Material and comfort

The pants are sewn in PolyCotton Stretch Ripstop – a fabric that combines strength and freedom of movement. The material is quick-drying, durable, and at the same time flexible thanks to a small amount of elastane. The result is pants that are comfortable to wear throughout long days and can handle hard use both in everyday life and on adventures. Note that several of the product images show the pants in camouflage. However, this article refers to the coyote pants. What is Ripstop? Ripstop is a weaving technique with reinforced threads in a checkered pattern. This makes the fabric extra durable – even if it gets damaged, the tear will not spread further.

How to choose the right size

Helikon-Tex recommends two steps when choosing your size:

• Step 1 – Choose size (S–4XL): Based on body measurements. Measure chest, waist, and hip according to the table below and choose the size that best corresponds to your measurements.
• Step 2 – Choose leg length (Regular or Long): Regular is standard and fits most. Long is for those who are taller or have longer legs.

How to measure

• Chest: Measure around the chest at its widest point, keep the tape measure horizontal.
• Waist: Measure around the natural waist, just above the navel. The tape measure should sit comfortably—not too tight or too loose.
• Hip: Measure around the hips at the widest point, keeping the tape horizontal.
• Inseam: Measure from the crotch along the inside of the leg down to the ankle.
• Body height: Measure your height standing upright against a wall in a natural position.
