UTS®, Urban Tactical Shorts® is a further development of the immensely popular UTL trousers. Note that some pictures show the shorts in a different color, these refer to khaki.
The shorts are designed to be a bit more "mid-profile" and not stand out as much in civilian contexts while maintaining function. These shorts are of very high quality and are also really comfortable! Excellent function with stretch, smart pouches and comfortable fit. Given the favorite summer garment.
This is the slightly shorter 8.5" short version that ends above the knee. It also comes in 11" that ends with "on" the knee.

Materials: 60% Cotton, 37% Polyester , 3% Spandex. Rip-stop.
Zippers made of YKK®.
Fly with zipper. velcro panel above instead of button for waist size adjustment.
Ten pouches:
- Two front pouches with reinforced edges.
- Four thigh pouches: Two large ones that close with zippers and two smaller ones that sit on the outside of the large ones. These close with velcro and are well suited for mobile phones and the like.
- Four back pouches: Two large and two smaller inside the large ones.
The pants are elasticated in the middle of the back for an optimal fit.
Double reinforced knees/bottom with two layers of fabric.
The front belt loops have extra loops for attaching a d-ring or carabiner.
Note that Helikon's measurements measure the garment, not the body they should fit on. So compare the measurements appropriately with a garment that fits you well. These shorts have a slim fit, if you are unsure choose a size larger than you usually do.
