British Extreme Cold Weather Thumb Glove - ECW

The British Extreme Cold Weather (ECW) Thumb Glove is part of the modular system used by the British Defense Forces to deal with extremely cold climates. The system consists of a wool lining, this thumb glove and an outer glove in Gore-Tex for the toughest weather conditions. This product refers to the thumb glove only.

Features and Materials:

• Durable Leather Palm: The palm and the back of the fingers are reinforced with WR goatskin snap for extra protection and durability.
• Ripstop fabric: Other parts of the glove are made of durable polyester ripstop for best durability in field.
• Elastic Adjustments: Elastic band at the wrist and strong drawstring at the bottom of the cuff for a secure fit and protection against snow and water.
• MVP 3-Layer Laminate Lining: Provides a breathable and waterproof barrier that keeps hands dry in extreme conditions.

Versatile Use:[ /h2] This one thumb glove works great on its own and can easily be combined with other gloves for extra warmth. If the lining or outer glove from the military system is not available (military surplus is used when available), you can use a regular thinner glove inside to get extra warmth. The outer glove (not included) is intended to be used only in the absolute worst weather, this thumb glove with leather reinforcement is intended as a more all-around work glove during the winter that you supplement with lining or inner glove when it is extra cold.
