Nitecore HA15 UHE is a lightweight headlamp with white and red light powered by a standard AA battery or a rechargeable 14500 battery. It is suitable for hiking, camping, running and work where you want to keep your hands free. With the included AA battery, the headlamp delivers up to 200 lumens. With a Nitecore NL1411R 14500 battery (sold separately), the brightness increases to 400 lumens with a beam distance of up to 80 metres.
The headlamp uses six energy-efficient NiteLab UHE LEDs and optics that distribute the light for both close-up work and navigation in the dark. It weighs only 43 g including the headband, without battery, making it comfortable to wear for extended periods.

Choose between AA battery and rechargeable 14500

The HA15 UHE works with alkaline AA batteries, AA lithium batteries and rechargeable NiMH AA batteries. It also supports 3.6 V 14500 Li-ion batteries. With the Nitecore NL1411R, you gain access to the most powerful 400-lumen mode and up to 114 hours of runtime on the lowest white light mode. With an alkaline AA battery, the corresponding maximum brightness is 200 lumens and the runtime on the lowest mode is up to 82 hours.
Please note: The headlamp does not have a built-in charging port. If you want USB-C charging, you can choose the separately sold Nitecore NL1411R battery, which has its own USB-C port.

White light, red light and button lock

The white light has three brightness levels with an AA battery and four with the NL1411R. The red light can be set to 5 or 15 lumens and is useful when you want to preserve night vision, for example when reading maps or using it in a tent. There are also SOS, flashing beacon and flashing red light modes.
Two differently shaped buttons make it easy to switch between light modes. A button lock prevents accidental activation in a bag or pocket. The housing is made of impact-resistant plastic and TPE, while the IP66 rating provides protection against dust and powerful water jets.

Brightness and runtime

Runtime varies depending on the battery and light mode. Some examples:

• Alkaline AA: 200 lumens for 4 hours, 100 lumens for 9 hours or 6 lumens for 82 hours.
• Nitecore NL1411R: 400 lumens for 3 hours and 30 minutes, 200 lumens for 5 hours, 100 lumens for 10 hours and 30 minutes or 6 lumens for 114 hours.
• Red light with AA: 15 lumens for 7 hours or 5 lumens for 14 hours.

The most powerful light mode may automatically reduce its output to prevent overheating.
