Nitecore HC65 UHE is a rechargeable headlamp with up to 2000 lumens and a 222-meter range. It combines a powerful white main light with a separate High CRI light for close-up work and a red light that helps preserve night vision.
The headlamp is suitable for hiking, running, camping, hunting, search and rescue, and work where both range and long runtime are needed. A rechargeable and replaceable 4000 mAh 18650 battery is included.

Three light sources for different applications

The primary white light has a color temperature of 6000 K and provides up to 2000 lumens with a 222-meter range. Nitecore’s optical lens system creates an even light pattern with good illumination even outside the center of the beam.
The separate white close-up light has a more neutral color temperature of 4500 K and a color rendering index of CRI ≥90. It renders colors more naturally and provides a softer light for reading maps, working, photography, and handling equipment up close.
The red light comes in two brightness levels as well as a slow flashing mode. Red light affects night vision less than white light and is suitable for example for map reading, nighttime navigation, and observation.

Long runtime and USB-C charging

The included Nitecore NL1840HP 18650 battery has a capacity of 4000 mAh. The battery charges directly in the headlamp via USB-C, and a full charge takes about two hours with a 5 V/2 A power source.
Four indicator lights show the remaining battery level. In the useful mid mode at 100 lumens, runtime is up to 31 hours, while the lowest mode at 8 lumens offers up to 82 hours.

Easy operation and button lock

Two buttons with different shapes and feel make them easy to distinguish by touch. One is used to turn on the lamp and select brightness, while the other switches between the different light sources and special modes.
A button lock prevents the headlamp from being accidentally switched on in a backpack or pocket. The lamp angle can be adjusted to direct the beam, and the removable crown strap provides extra stability during running and other high-movement activities.

Waterproof aluminum construction

The lamp body is made of HA III hard-anodized aluminum and is rated IP68. It is dustproof, withstands immersion up to two meters deep, and is drop-tested from two meters.
Nitecore’s ATR technology monitors temperature and automatically regulates brightness when necessary to prevent overheating. This means that the Turbo mode at 2000 lumens does not maintain full power for the entire specified runtime.
