Nitecore NU25 MCT is a lightweight and rechargeable headlamp with 400 lumens, a 132-metre beam distance and three selectable colour temperatures. It is suitable for hiking, running, camping and other activities where you need good lighting without carrying unnecessary weight. Weighing only 50 grams including the headband, it is comfortable to use even for extended periods.
The headlamp has a built-in 700 mAh lithium-ion battery that charges via USB-C. You get up to 45 hours of runtime on the lowest brightness setting, as well as a separate red light that is practical when you want to preserve night vision.

Three colour temperatures for different applications

The NU25 MCT uses Nitecore's MCT UHE LEDs and allows you to switch between three colour temperatures. This lets you adapt the light to the surroundings and your intended activity.

• Warm white light (3000 K): Provides a warmer light that may feel more comfortable in rain, fog and snow, for example.
• Neutral white light (4500 K): Provides a natural light output that is well suited for hiking, camping and general use.
• Cool white light (6500 K): Provides a clearer, whiter light for situations where you want good contrast and clear visibility.

All three colour temperatures can be used with the four brightness levels, up to a maximum of 400 lumens. The lamp's optics provide an even beam pattern while reaching up to 132 metres at maximum output.

Red light and multiple brightness levels

In addition to the main light, there is red light with two brightness levels, 5 and 15 lumens. The red light is especially useful for activities such as map reading, use inside a tent, or when you want to avoid dazzling others while preserving night vision.
The headlamp has the following brightness levels and runtimes:

• High: 400 lumens, 132 metres, 2 hours and 40 minutes.
• Mid: 200 lumens, 94 metres, 5 hours.
• Low: 60 lumens, 51 metres, 13 hours.
• Ultralow: 6 lumens, 13 metres, 45 hours.
• Red High: 15 lumens, 10 hours.
• Red Low: 5 lumens, 26 hours.

There are also SOS, beacon and flashing red signal light modes. Two buttons make it easy to adjust brightness and colour temperature, while a lockout function prevents the lamp from turning on accidentally in your pack.

USB-C charging and battery indicator

The built-in 700 mAh battery fully charges in approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes via USB-C using a 5 V/0.5 A power source. A USB-C to USB-C cable is included.
Four indicator lights show the remaining battery level in 25% increments, making it easy to check when it is time to recharge.

Lightweight construction with IP66 protection

The NU25 MCT has a durable polycarbonate housing and is dustproof and protected against powerful water jets according to IP66. It also withstands drops from heights of up to 1 metre.
The included headband is lightweight and breathable. The package also includes a light-diffusing storage bag that can be used to diffuse the lamp's light, for example as lighting inside a tent.
