Princeton Tec Ghost X is a compact headlamp with white, red, green, blue, and infrared light. The white light provides up to 300 lumens and a range of 102 meters, while the 940 nm infrared light is intended for use together with compatible night vision devices.
The lamp has 14 light modes, programmable color selection, and Dual-Fuel operation with either a CR123 battery or an AA battery. A CR123 lithium battery is included.

White light with adjustable brightness

The white light provides up to 300 lumens with a range of 102 meters. The low mode at 20 lumens gives a shorter and wider beam for work, map reading, and close-range movement.
The brightness can be adjusted by holding down the button, allowing the light to be tailored to distance and needs.

Programmable red, green, or blue light

The color mode is set to red by default but can be programmed to green or blue. The selected color can be used at low or high brightness, as well as strobe mode.
Red light affects night vision less than white light. Green light provides good detail visibility, and blue light can, among other things, make it easier to spot certain fluids and traces.

Ghost Mode for infrared light

A separate mechanical switch activates Ghost Mode and locks out all visible light. When this function is activated, the lamp can only turn on in IR mode, reducing the risk of accidentally turning on white or colored light.
The infrared light has a wavelength of 940 nm and can be used with compatible night vision goggles and other image intensification systems. IR light can be set to high or low power as well as strobe. It is not intended for use as regular visible illumination.

Dual-Fuel with CR123 or AA

Ghost X can be powered by one CR123 lithium battery or one AA battery. The AA battery can be alkaline or lithium type. The ability to use two common battery types makes it easier to find replacement batteries.
The stated runtimes are measured with a CR123 lithium battery. Lithium batteries generally provide more consistent brightness, lower weight, and better cold-weather performance than alkaline batteries.

Headband and MOLLE mount in the same bracket

The lamp’s Quick-Clip mount allows you to quickly switch between wearing it on your head and around your neck. The mount can also be attached to 25 mm wide MOLLE/PALS webbing.
A digital button lock prevents accidental activation. The lamp can also be tilted fully upwards so that the power switch is mechanically blocked during transport.
