A beautiful classic, the original and made in Germany.
This is the kerosene variant that delivers very powerful light. Invented in 1910 and has been a recurring feature ever since.

The construction is robust and waterproof, well suited for forest activities, camping or as a nice lamp at home, especially when the power goes out.

The mechanism builds on the kerosene being pumped up to high pressure, sluiced to a carburettor where it is mixed with air and drawn to the mantel. The glow mantel is treated with special salts which, together with kerosene and heat, give a strong, beautiful light.
The over two hundred parts of the lamp are assembled by hand.
