This katana is made of 1045 carbon steel – a common material in entry-level models that provides a good balance between price, appearance, and function. The blade is full tang with a fine edge (not unsharpened) and a length of 71 cm. A distinct blood groove (bo-hi) runs along the blade, which gives classic Japanese aesthetics and lighter balance. The sword has a handle with cord wrapping and brown decoration. The tsuba is made of zinc alloy with a traditional design language. Delivered with a molded black scabbard with a carbon fiber patterned finish – durable and lightweight. Suitable for collectors, cosplay, and light use, such as cutting bottles or fruit. Not suitable for heavy training or dojo.
