The Vegvisir runes, whose purpose was that the wearer would always be able to find home, are a historical symbol from Iceland. The age of the symbol is unknown as the earliest well-documented copy is from the Huld Manuscript, a text compiled in the 19th century that described older symbols, magic and customs.

The runes read "The wearer of these symbols shall never lose his way, in storm or bad weather, even if the way is unknown".
Never wrong to have with you when out on an adventure.

Made of leather with Velcro on the back. The print itself is embossed/stamped.
The female part is also included if you want to sew it onto a garment that does not have Velcro.
