Buckle Up Recon/Sniper is a lightweight and versatile chest rig with space for rifle magazines, pistol magazines, and other equipment that needs to be easily accessible. The adjustable H-harness keeps the gear close to the body and distributes weight over the shoulders. The chest rig holds four rifle magazines and two pistol magazines as well as two multipurpose zippered pockets. The magazines are held in place with elastic retention cords that provide a combination of secure storage and quick access.

Four rifle magazines and two pistol magazines

The four rifle magazine pouches are designed for AR-15 and AK-type magazines. Elastic retention cords with grip tabs keep the magazines in place during movement and can quickly be moved aside when removing a magazine. The two smaller magazine pouches use elastic bands and retention cords to secure both single- and double-stack pistol magazines. The pouches can also be used for items such as multi-tools, smaller flashlights, or other equipment of suitable size. Fit can vary between magazine models and manufacturers.

Two multipurpose zippered pockets

On the sides of the chest rig are two multipurpose pockets with hidden zippers. The larger pocket measures approximately 160 × 120 mm and features a hook-and-loop area of about 150 × 50 mm. The smaller pocket measures approximately 70 × 120 mm and has a hook-and-loop area of about 70 × 50 mm. The pockets provide space for items such as radios, tools, first aid, spare parts, and other small accessories. Both are equipped with drainage openings to help water drain out. There is also an extra pocket with hook-and-loop closure for smaller accessories and gear that needs to be kept together.

Adjustable H-harness

The adjustable H-harness helps distribute weight across the shoulders and can be tailored to the user's body shape and other clothing. The shoulder straps and the strap around the body can be adjusted so the chest rig stays stable without restricting freedom of movement. Between the shoulder blades is a 130 × 50 mm hook-and-loop area for patches or identification.

Compatible with Buckle Up system

The chest rig can be used standalone with the included H-harness. It is also equipped with buckles and hook-and-loop areas for mounting on compatible plate carriers and vests with the Buckle Up system. This makes it possible to transfer the same magazine and pouch configuration between the standalone harness and a compatible plate carrier. Check the placement of buckles and hook-and-loop areas before mounting as configuration may vary between manufacturers.

Made of 1000D polyester

The construction is made from 1000D polyester, a durable material suited for airsoft and outdoor use. The material provides good resistance to abrasion while the complete chest rig weighs about 540 grams.
