Bushmen Soft Shackle Green is an extremely light and strong alternative to carabiners. Weighing only 4 g and with a breaking strength of 10 kN, it provides the same function as a classic carabiner, but at a fraction of the weight – perfect for ultra-light packs. Made of 3 mm UHMWPE rope with tight braiding, hand-braided for maximum strength and durability. It can be used in several ways and is particularly appreciated by outdoor enthusiasts and hammock users who want to minimize weight without compromising safety.

Areas of use

• Connector/carabiner replacement: Replaces heavy carabiners or shackles – 5 times lighter than aluminum carabiners and 10 times lighter than steel carabiners.
• Hammock loops: Can replace the standard loops on the hammock and save up to 10% weight. The knob works perfectly as a connection to Whoopie Slings.
• Stoppers: Can be used as a stop loop, e.g., in prusik-like solutions.
• Mountings: Excellent as a mount in MOLLE/PALS systems to hang or secure equipment.
