This is a complete freeze-dried meal that includes both a main course and several side items. Perfect for hiking, outdoor activities, or as part of your emergency preparedness when you want low weight, easy preparation, and good energy content.

The main course consists of pasta carbonara which is prepared directly in the pouch by adding hot water. In about 15 minutes you have a ready meal. The freeze-drying process makes the food lightweight while still providing good nutrition and taste.

Preparation – Pasta Carbonara

• Open the pouch and unfold the bottom
• Add boiling water up to the mark (approx. 450 ml)
• Stir thoroughly
• Let stand for about 15 minutes
• Stir again and adjust with more water if needed
