The Helikon-Tex Lightweight Poncho is an improved and modernized version of the classic US poncho. It is made of durable ripstop polyester with low weight and very small packing volume, without compromising coverage or protection. The poncho can be used both as a rain garment and as a simple shelter/tarp in the field thanks to reinforced attachment points. By replacing metal eyelets with strong woven loops, the weight has been significantly reduced while maintaining durability. The adjustable hood provides a better fit than the traditional model, and press studs on the sides allow you to shape sleeves to prevent the poncho from blowing up. The poncho can be packed into the included packing bag and is an excellent choice for hiking, hunting, bushcraft, and as part of a light emergency kit. Note: Some of the supplier's images show the poncho in the color coyote – this product refers to the earth brown model (dark brown).
