Product description
Zeltplane is the Bundeswehr's tent cloth that replaces the former Zeltbahn. Can be used as a tarp, wind protection, poncho or assembled into a tent.
Two soldiers snap together their tent parts and they have a small tent. Can also be used as a rain cover, then use the tent cloth bag as a hood (sold separately).
Made of tightly woven fabric, protects against wind and water.
Used but complete, sold individually.
Perfect for outdoor activities as you can easily build a nice wind shelter that you can have in front of the fireplace. You then need two sticks of approx. 90 cm, either sticks from the forest or those from "Accessories Zeltbahn", at least two pieces of string of approx. 2 meters and approx. 6 tent pegs.
There is also an interesting combination when you start from the two-person tent, but folds up one side which is tensioned with two sticks and preferably 2 pairs of tent cords. Then you can sit in one of the wind shelters, but a type of tent. Then when it's time to lay down, you fold down the roof and you have a tent again. You just have to have a little control over where you place the fireplace.
We have also seen that you can snap together 6 parts to get a small "palace", but haven't had time to test this.
Length 3.4 meters, width 130cm. Weight 1500g.
The two-man tent and the wind protection are well added in length and also fit tall people.
Distance between buttonholes 22 cm.
This Zeltplane is also called Zeltbahn and zelte behelfsässig.
