This means that you can safely remove the hot iron from the fire or move it. If you hook your lid lifter to the lower end of the tip lock, you can easily open the lid of the roaster and serve steaming potatoes.

Control over the heat with smart design

The edge of the lid gives you full temperature control. You can place wood embers or briquettes here and adjust the top heat precisely as you cook. The cast iron potato roaster always stands firmly thanks to a bar that runs along the bottom and creates a flat surface. The result is that the roaster stands securely on the hearth and can also be used in the oven at home without problems. The extended bar also runs under the hinges and ensures that the roaster cannot tip over.
