Product description
Tripod for hanging pot over the fire. Made in Hungary for Goulash Casserole, but great for all types of pots, pans and anything else you want to hang over the open fire.
Made from 8mm square steel bars that are twist forged. Black painted.
Supplied with chain and S-hook. The chain can be rotated with a small lever at the top, so that the heat is distributed evenly. A tip is to knock one end of the S-hook together a little, so you don't accidentally get it loose when you fidget.
The length of the legs is about 100 cm.
Weight 1.8 kg.
The feet of the legs sit firmly on the ground thanks to the sharp edge and shoe. This means that the legs can be at a wide angle outwards (the hook ends up lower) or a narrow angle (the hook ends up higher).
The pictures of the tripod in the forest are with leg length 120 cm. The forest pictures show the tripod with a 14-liter pot.
From Hungarian Italia Konyhastudio. Manufactured according to ISO 9001:2009
We have tested hanging a pot in it and putting 30 kg in the pot and the tripod showed no signs of instability or deformation, however we chose not to put more in order not to destroy the pot. In short, it is very stable and a well-filled pot with 15 liters of water is clearly below the capacity limit. But always be careful and remember that a heavy pot that you e.g. vigorous rocking puts more force on the tripod compared to a pot that just hangs still.
