Kip Mat Compact is a self-inflating sleeping pad in a short model, developed for those who want to save weight and packing volume. The sleeping pad insulates the most important part of the body – from the upper body to the hips – while the legs can rest on luggage or a backpack. This makes it an effective and lightweight option for hiking, bushcraft, and cycling trips.

Lightweight, packable, and quick to use

The 3 cm thick foam core provides basic comfort and insulation. An R-value of 3.2 (ASTM F3340) places the sleeping pad in the spring–summer–fall category. The valve system has two layers where the first layer lets in air without releasing it, and the second layer is used for quick deflation. A silicone pattern on one side reduces the risk of sliding around in the tent.

Compact model for minimalist packing

The short length of 120 cm makes the sleeping pad significantly more compact than full-length models. It is suitable for users who want to keep weight and volume down and who are used to using a backpack, jacket, or extra clothing as leg support. Stuff sack included.
