This hooped bivy bag is an advancement of the classic "mummy" – a sleeping bag cover with a hoop over the head end that provides extra space and better ventilation. The design prevents the fabric from laying against the face, resulting in a significantly drier and more comfortable sleep under the open sky, and it feels much nicer inside and more like a tent. Made in 3-layer laminate with water column of 10,000 mm and breathability of 3,000 g/m²/24 h. The waterproof, breathable material protects against rain, snow, and moisture from the ground while wicking away condensation. The head section has an integrated mosquito net with a two-way zipper that can be opened or closed independently of the outer cover. Perfect ultralight one-man tent and the simplest possible accommodation.

Practical design for bivouac and outdoor life

The bivy has two openings – one on the side and one at the head end – both with two-way zippers and snap-buttoned protective flaps. It is equipped with six fastening loops to secure it to the ground and loops underneath for sleeping pads up to 60 cm wide. The hoop is quickly assembled to keep the head area elevated and create a small tent-like dome. This provides a more airy feel than a regular sleeping bag cover, while the total weight of only 1.4 kg makes it easy to carry.
