Waterproof sleeping bag cover also called bivy bag from the German manufacturer Carinthia.
With this bivy bag you can quickly set up camp even if you don't have a tent, just crawl down with a sleeping bag in the bivy bag. Extremely lightweight and takes up little space.
Made of GORE-TEX® Gas Permeable Technology functional material that releases moisture but protects against rain (3-layer laminate fabric). Unlike regular gore-tex, this GPT variant lets oxygen in and carbon dioxide out combined with being waterproof, in this way you can close the bivy bag completely without suffocation which provides full protection against weather and insects.
Special for expedition is that it is equipped with a zip-in-zip system so that you can fasten your sleeping bag with a zipper in the bivy bag. It will then be just as easy to get in and out as if you only had a sleeping bag and not a bivy bag.
