BeaverCraft Dual-Sided Leather Paddle Strop with P1 Polishing

Product description

Brown leather on two sides on a stable wooden frame. Polishing paste P1 included. Used if one of your cutting tools needs to be sharpened quickly or after sharpening. Used together with BeaverCrafts brow paste (P1 included) and provides quick sharpening of the tool. Sharpening with leather is a technique that goes back very, very far in time.
For major damage to the edge, however, you may need to resharpen the tool. After sharpening, the leather paddle strop is excellent for removing the raw edge for a perfect result.
Since you have two sides of leather, you can have different roughness of the brow paste. The frame has pre-drilled and countersunk holes so that the workpiece can be mounted on e.g. workbench. The wooden piece is handmade from ash and oiled with linseed oil.
Works for most edge tools such as kitchen knives, razors, carpentry tools, etc.
