Product description
Recreates the water and dirt repellency
Maintains the vapor permeability of the material
Bio-based, easily biodegradable and PFAS-free
Eco-labelled with OEKO-TEX Eco Passport and USDA Certified Biobased Product
Wash-In Textile Waterproofing is a textile impregnation that is easily washed into the garment with a washing machine. It restores the fabric's water and dirt resistance, and extends the product's life by protecting the fibers. The material's vapor permeability, color and structure are maintained as the impregnation does not form a film on the surface but binds to the textile fibres. The product is bio-based, easily biodegradable and PFAS-free. Eco-labeled with OEKO-TEX Eco Passport and USDA Certified Biobased Product.
Area of use
Textile impregnation to restore or improve the water repellency of all types of sports and outdoor clothing in polyester, polyamide, wool, down or blends. Compatible with microporous membranes such as Gore-Tex®. Maintains the garment's breathability, color and structure.
Environmental benefits
The product is based on nature's own chemistry. It is free from fluorocarbons (PFC/PFAS), fossil-based polymers and synthetic waxes. Instead, bio-based and easily biodegradable according to OECD 301F.
Content
Based on water, natural fatty acids and surfactants.

Other information
Consumption: Sufficient for 5-7 garments. Shelf life: 12 months, opened packaging. Storage: Frost-free, inaccessible to children. Recycling: Sorted as plastic (rPET bottle).
When is it time to re-impregnate?
When the water no longer beads off the outer fabric of your rain jacket, shell jacket or other functional outer garment, the basic impregnation, so-called DWR*, has been washed out. A wet outer fabric reduces the garment's vapor permeability by approx. 70%. This means that despite a good membrane that should keep you dry and at the same time "breathe", you experience the garment as cold and heavier and you get wet on the inside. By washing and re-impregnating your garments and your equipment regularly, you maintain the function and extend the lifespan.
