Product description

Swedish-made fluorocarbon-free (PFCs and PFAS) and biodegradable textile impregnation that improves water - and dirt repellence on functional materials in sports and leisure clothing. Works very well on shell garments in polyester or polyamide, soft-shell as well as natural materials such as wool, cotton and cotton-polyester etc. Can also be advantageously used on tents, chapels, rucksacks etc as the product can self-dry. Maintains the material's vapor permeability (membrane), color and structure.

How does the impregnation work?
OrganoTex has a unique patented 3D technology that makes the textile fibers water-repellent without having to use either fluorocarbons, siloxanes (D4, D5, D6), wax or Polyurethane. The product instead consists of a silicon and natural fatty acids that create the water repellency, similar to how a lotus leaf repels water and dirt. This means that the garment still breathes well after the treatment.

INSTRUCTIONS: 1) Wash the textile/garment with a gentle detergent (eg OrganoTex BioCare Textile Wash) without fabric softener and allow to dry completely.
2) Protect the work surface. Spray from 20 cm, make sure the textile gets evenly wet, wait 1 min. Spray again and rub in the liquid with a cloth. 3) Wipe off any excess liquid, leaving no drips as this can cause staining. 4) Tumble dry or dry in a drying cabinet (follow the instructions) or let dry for at least 24 hours.

The product is Fluorocarbon-free, easily biodegradable, water-based and completely solvent-free. Classified as not hazardous to the environment according to the EU's CLP regulation.
Rapidly biodegradable according to OECD 301A (within 7 days).
Water-based and free of solvents (VOC). , natural fatty acids, nonionic surfactants and complexing agents.
