Linden is a relatively soft wood and perfect for carving. The wood fibers are small and the pieces of wood are selected to have minimal imperfections such as knots. The result is an easy-to-use piece of wood that you can shape into figures, spoons or the like. A huge difference compared to sitting and carving some pine.
