This is a 3-pack of activated carbon as a spare part for the Katadyn BeFree AC filter. The carbon filter is installed in the BeFree AC system, where water passes through a carbon cartridge to improve taste and reduce unwanted odor.

The activated carbon effectively reduces chlorine taste and other unwanted taste and odor substances in the water. Perfect for travel, hiking, and everyday use where the water source is safe but the taste needs improvement.

Please note that this is a carbon filter for taste improvement and not a membrane filter for bacteria or protozoa. Used together with the BeFree AC system's main filter.

Capacity and Lifespan

Each carbon filter has a capacity of up to 200 liters of water, depending on water quality. If taste or flow deteriorates, the filter should be replaced.
