Katadyn BeFree Replacement Filter

The BeFree replacement filter is compatible with the Katadyn BeFree Water Filtration System and certain Hydrapak products with a 43mm opening. The filter cleans the water with a precision of 0.1 micron, which reduces protozoa by up to 99.9% and bacteria by 99.9999%.

More about Katadyn BeFree Filter Element[/ h3]The BeFree filter has the capacity to purify up to 1000 liters of water. The capacity can be longer when purifying clear water and shorter for cloudy water. In case of clogging, the filter can be easily cleaned with the "EZ-Clean advantage": Fill the bottle with water and shake vigorously to remove debris. Alternatively, you can unscrew the filter, dip it in water and "swish" it from side to side. This clears the filter so you can continue using it. Note that the filter should never be rinsed horizontally under a tap as this could damage it.
