The Hiker Pro is a true lightweight pump that also has a good flow rate. Perfect for a quick stop at the mountain stream or stream, pumps about 1 liter / minute and is therefore most suitable for one person's water needs. Can be used in cloudy water and has a smart filter cover that sits on the outside of the fiberglass filter and prevents the cloudiest particles from clogging the filter. The filter cover is easy to maintain even out in the wilderness.
It also comes with a quick coupler to be able to connect the pump directly to most systems with liquid bladders. The fiberglass filter removes bacteria, Giardia and cryptosporidium from the water. The pump can be used with or without activated carbon, the active carbon reduces taste and odor in the purified water. Purifies approx. 1,150 liters of water before the filter needs to be changed. Weight 310 grams.
