Katadyn Hiker Pro is a proven and easy-to-use pump filter developed for hiking, mountain trips, and longer stays in nature where access to clean water is crucial. With low weight, stable construction, and good flow rate, it is particularly suitable for 1-2 people who want to purify water quickly at streams, lakes, and watercourses. The filter pumps approximately 1 liter per minute and is designed to work even in clear to slightly cloudy water. Thanks to Katadyn’s AntiClog™ technology with a large filter area, relatively few pump strokes are required to obtain clean water, making use less strenuous during breaks or at the campsite.

Efficient filtration with activated carbon

Hiker Pro uses a 0.2-micron glass fiber filter that removes bacteria, protozoa, cysts, algae, and sediment. The filter cartridge also includes activated carbon, which reduces bad taste and odor in the purified water. The combination makes the filter well-suited for both mountain streams and other natural water sources where taste may vary. A cleanable filter protector sits outside the filter cartridge and catches larger particles before they reach the filter itself. This extends the filter’s lifespan and allows the protector to be maintained even in the field.

Smooth usage and broad compatibility

The pump is equipped with quick connections and can be connected directly to most hydration bladders and hydration systems. The included Easy Fill™ bottle adapter makes it easy to pump water directly into a bottle without spillage. The transparent design also allows you to see the water flow and filtration process during use.
