Leapers UTG 1" High Profile scope rings are a stable mount for rifle scopes with a 1 inch / 25.4 mm tube diameter. They are intended for air rifles and .22 guns with a 9–11 mm dovetail base, which is the common rail type on many air rifles. The reversible locking plate allows the mount to be adapted for different dovetail bases within the 9–11 mm range. These rings do not fit Picatinny/Weaver 21 mm rail. The high profile makes them suitable when you need more clearance between the scope's objective lens and the gun. This is important both to accommodate larger objective lenses and to avoid the scope touching the barrel or other parts of the gun. For air rifles and basic .22 setups, a 1 inch / 25.4 mm tube diameter is very common, while larger scopes for other types of firearms more often use a 30 mm tube.

Things to consider when choosing scope rings

The most important thing is to check which rail your gun has, the tube diameter of your scope, and the size of the objective lens. High profile rings are used when you need extra height for good clearance between the scope and the firearm. On many air rifles this is especially important as the space above the barrel is often limited.
