Product description

VictOptics ZOD 1–4x20 IR is a compact LPVO riflescope for airsoft BBs and .22 LR. The magnification can be adjusted from 1x for fast target tracking at short range to 4x when you need to see the target more clearly and place shots more precisely. The model has the manufacturer’s item number OPSL21 and is also referred to as X4.
The low weight of only 320 g makes the scope particularly suitable for mobile airsoft builds where variable magnification is desired without an unnecessarily large and heavy scope.

Illuminated VMD-2 Reticle

The scope uses VictOptics’ VMD-2 reticle with markings for range estimation and holdover. The reticle can be illuminated in red or green with five brightness levels per color, making it easier to adapt visibility to the background and lighting conditions.
The illumination is powered by a CR2032 battery. Diopter adjustment from -2 to +1.5 makes it possible to tune sharpness to the user’s vision.

LPVO with Long Eye Relief

Eye relief varies between 112 and 95 mm depending on the chosen magnification. This provides a comfortable shooting position and makes it easier to quickly get a full sight picture.
Fully multi-coated lenses provide a clear image with good contrast, while the field of view of about 22.7 meters at 1x offers good situational awareness for short-range shooting. The parallax is fixed at 50 yards, which is approximately 46 meters.

1/2 MOA Clicks and Wide Adjustment Range

The adjustment turrets have distinct 1/2 MOA clicks and can be reset to zero after sighting in. The adjustment range is 200 MOA for both elevation and windage, which offers plenty of flexibility to compensate for different mounts and zeroing distances.
The scope is built around a 25.4 mm tube made of 6063-T6 aluminum. It is nitrogen filled to prevent internal fogging, water repellent, and shock tested up to 500 G. The manufacturer specifies the model for .22 LR, but it should not be recommended for stronger calibers or generally for spring-powered air rifles with bidirectional recoil.

Mounts and Accessories Included

The package includes 25.4 mm rings for Weaver and Picatinny rail, a throw lever, lens caps, cleaning cloth, and manual. The throw lever makes it easier to quickly switch between 1x and 4x, even while wearing gloves.
