Extremely classic German chocolate that is always delivered in a handy tin box, Dose in German. In 1936, this chocolate was produced for the Olympics in Germany as a sports chocolate.
The red jar contains the classic dark chocolate. Zartbitter copes better in heat than the milk chocolate in a blue can.

The name comes from Schokolade-Kaffee-Kolanuss. Kolanuss is a nut that is naturally very rich in caffeine, which has made this chocolate a natural stimulant throughout the ages.

During the Second World War, it was distributed to fighter pilots, especially night pilots to keep the crew awake . But the chocolate was appreciated and found its way to most troops.

After the end of the war, the chocolate was mainly marketed as a stimulant for motorists.

The chocolate is delivered cut into 16 pieces, 8 per layer in the classic tin box. It comes in two flavors; milk chocolate with a blue can and dark chocolate in a red can.

Each piece contains about 12.5 mg of caffeine, so the whole can ends up at 200 mg, which is equivalent to about 4 cups of coffee.

Ingredients: Cocoa mass, sugar , cocoa butter, coffee (2.6%), skimmed milk powder, cocoa powder (1.6%), soya lecetin + E476, flavourings.
May contain traces of nuts, gluten and soy.
