Hatsan 125 4.5 mm 10J is a powerful break-barrel air rifle that combines high performance with adjustable ergonomics. The model is based on Hatsan’s proven design with a large cylinder, providing a stable shooting feel and good accuracy in the license-free 10J version. The rifle is cocked by breaking the barrel down, making it easy to load and use. The rifled barrel and 4.5 mm caliber deliver high muzzle velocity, a flat trajectory, and good accuracy at standard shooting distances.

Well-considered design for improved shooting experience

The Hatsan 125 is equipped with several features that enhance both comfort and control:

Quattro Trigger – adjustable two-stage trigger for better control and less creep
SAS (Shock Absorber System) – reduces vibrations and protects the scope
Triopad® recoil pad – adjustable length with included spacers
Automatic safety – increases safety when loading

The integrated barrel compensator contributes to better balance and control when shooting.

Sights and scope mounting

The rifle comes with fiber optic sights from Truglo in red and green, providing quick target acquisition even in low light. If you wish to mount a scope, there is an 11 mm dovetail rail on the rifle, making it compatible with standard airgun scopes.

Caliber 4.5 mm – classic choice for high speed and easy shootability

Caliber 4.5 mm (.177) is the most common caliber for airguns and a very good choice for both beginners and experienced shooters. The lower projectile weight gives high muzzle velocity and a flat trajectory, making it easier to shoot at standard distances. This caliber is well suited for target shooting and recreational shooting. Compared to 5.5 mm, the 4.5 mm is more susceptible to wind, while 5.5 mm is often considered more wind-resistant but, on the other hand, has a lower muzzle velocity.

Considerations regarding power and upgrades

This version is made to provide maximum license-free muzzle velocity in Sweden for caliber 4.5 mm, which means about 198–200 m/s. The rifle can be upgraded with a so-called full-power spring, but will then require a license. You can also upgrade this air rifle with Hatsan’s Vortex gas piston, which is available in both license-free 10J version and full-power version. Upon upgrading to the full-power variant, the rifle will require a license.
