Even if the glove is unlined, it warms quite well, not as cooling as some other leather gloves can be. But if you go up a size, you can have a thin liner glove inside.
Goatskin is basically maintenance-free and does not need to be greased during normal use. But if necessary, the glove can be lubricated with a little neutral leather grease.
We have now used a pair for over a year, both leather and seams are still in excellent condition. Almost strange, since they have become a favorite and are often used.
