This is our largest variant of our very popular lightweight lavu.

The diameter is approx. 500 cm, in practice approx. 480 cm inside. Accommodates several people, about five or more people depending on how you sleep and whether you have a stove or not. The Optimist could probably get 9 people in. The ceiling height is approximately 250 cm at the tent pole and, like a tent pole, it becomes a very spacious tent. In addition to several people, this teepee also accommodates a really large tent stove, stove-ready through a specially designed hatch in the roof for the pipe.

This variant has a "skirt" around the bottom of the tent that effectively reduces drafts and protects from the weather and wind. Usually called snowskirt. It can either be folded in or out, if it is folded outwards you can put snow or branches over it for extra insulation. Keep in mind that if you fire with a stove in the tent, you must ensure that oxygen can enter, either at the bottom of the tent or through the supply air pipe to the stove.

The tent has double entrances that can be fixed in the open position, closed with double zippers, this allows you to have an additional ventilation opening in the upper part of the door. At the top there are ventilation openings with mosquito nets and these can be set up with built-in opening sticks.

For the opening for the pipe penetration, both normal tent cloth and a piece of fireproof cloth (the light gray one in some pictures) are included. You then make holes in this canvas to adapt to your stove's tent penetration.

Durable aluminum tent pole. The tent cloth is reinforced at the top and a hook for hanging a lamp is sewn on. At the top, the tent has a loop that is effectively used to pull steel wire to the pipe to get it at the right angle. The tent also has brackets for mounting extra storm lines. The tent pegs are made of aluminum and in a cross shape for good rigidity. The tent takes up little space disassembled and a good storage bag is included. The bag is spacious and has compression straps, which makes unpacking easier.

Note that the pipe lead-through piece is included and does not need to be purchased separately as on many other tents for stoves. This therefore refers to the silver piece of fabric material, not the silicone grommet.
You make holes in the pipe grommet according to the size of your pipe and then it is supplemented with a so-called tent grommet kit/flashing kit. Handles pipes up to approx. 3.5", depending on how hard you fire. Stove not included.
Ensure that the pipe and stove are always at a safe distance from combustible material and that sufficient protection is installed against the tent fabric. All fires take place on own responsibility and risk. Provide proper ventilation.

With the option of a stove, this is a tent for winter use as well as summer use.
